True I dont mind that approach but I think the inferiority complex turning into power hunger wouldve made for a good true villain story and a representation of America

I actually agree with this on Walker btw

    definitely.

My main gripe with the show is how they frame Wanda throughout the show.

She is undoubtedly a monster but side characters will give her so many passes and frame the director dude as this f***ing a****** villain when he’s really just doing what he feels is absolutely necessary.

Horrible framing of these characters morales and possibly teaches abusive values to younger audiences

Yea great concept for first few episodes but ultimately so disappointing

Yep finale really weakened the show for me as a whole.

Finales are very vital to a show’s rewatch value tbh

This wasn’t my favorite loki episode but it was good

Said it before but I’m not that into the multiverse thing and worry that the MCU is going to focus on it too much. Multiple Loki’s is cool and I enjoyed it but does this take the punch out of us seeing the same kind of thing with spider man?

When it comes to sticking the landing, I hope they stick the landing in the trilogy of Loki, Far From Home and Multiverse of Madness. I hope they don’t run it into the ground, and hope they wrap up the multiverse thing in a satisfying way.

In the meantime I look forward to the more universally grounded affairs like black widow, Shang chi and Eternals

    True.

    Phase 4 so far

    Loki - 9/10
    TF&TWS - 8.5/10
    WandaVision - 7.5/10

Seeing Black Widow tomorrow. So we’ll see where that lands

    Take me with u

The more of Shang Chi we see the less grounded it seems in my opinion tho, I’m interested on how his movie affects the future of the MCU

    Elizabeth Olsen overrated

  • Since kang has his origin as Nathaniel Richards a variant of reed Richards dad they’ll use that to introduce the fantastic four? Also do you guys think he could be the main villain for fantastic four? Since he’s their main villain in the comics and they probably won’t start with doom

I’d love to see galactus as the main big bad or doom of course but he might be relegated to just f4 but who knows
Side note: how do y’all think the mcu will end one day? Will it be another end game type movie? Or a bunch of solo movies that neatly wrap up every arc

They gonna keep on keeping on until the actors get tired of doing the movies and reboot the whole thing in 2035

I think the key will be using the multiverse as a tool to introduce something bigger, similar to how they used the infinity stones. The stones were a constant in the series but every film didn't completely center around them capturing the stones. The stones were a narrative tool to bring us Thanos.

I don't think the multiverse will be "the thing" but more so the next narrative tool that brings forth major consequences that come with messing with the multiverse. As long as the Spiderman and Dr Strange movies keep the multiverse as a tool and not the main threat or plot point, I think it'll work out. Loki is fulfilling its role by introducing the concept of the multiverse in a consolidated storyline that won't effect anything bigger (that we know of) and making it easy enough to understand for the future. There aren't earth shattering consequences yet, just ones that he personally has to deal with. The next few movies in this phase will most likely set up a much bigger threat that is a direct result of the multiverse.

Im also curious how the multiverse stuff will lead into Secret invasion, or if it'll be a sort of Civil War type movie that has more to say about the characters than the main threat of this next chapter.

They're going to go with this franchise for ten years then reboot it in 15 years. Might even go back to origin stories.

    So my theory

i can see this being a “King Loki” of sorts, a variant that truly died on the rainbow bridge in the first Thor movie but given a second chance at power by Kang reviving him for whatever purposes Kang feels he needs to utilize him. Maybe by being the “fall guy” of sorts for if the TVA is ever compromised. Indulging King Loki by feeding him lies of him being the superior Loki of all timelines and NEEDING him for his agenda. King Loki takes him up on this because it feeds his ego but as time goes on being the “Time Keeper” he begins to regret and feel hollow or he’s just a stubborn piece of s\*\*\* that is inebriated by power and he’s having a blast. I can see the later being likely.

it cant be yet another loki
