How are niggas not comprehending that Captain America brutally murdering a foreign national in broad day light in front of dozens of people who then upload the footage to YouTube where it’s then viewed millions of times is problematic

If Walker stans want a white vet hero to root for they got Netflix Punisher, it's getting hard to sympathise with new Cap as the show goes on

I initially thought this whole of episode 5 would show how the right/racist America would actually react to that video. With the government running news stories about how bad the guy JW killed was, exaggerating and misconstruing the flagsmashers morals and objectives, painting JW as a hero who lost his temper or something.
I thought that woulda been interesting and 100% what Would happen irl but I liked what happened in this episode too.

Punisher and his logo have been taken by racists too

It was bad for business. The govt used Walker as a product to be sold. You can’t tell me the govt aren’t happy that Walker killed one of the flag smashers. They’re just not happy that he did it in front of people.
That’s what Julia Louis Dreyfus was telling him. Walker f***ed up their bag so they dumped him
Nobody asked for the f***ing boat subplot smh
It’s not even a “plot”.
It’s simply a discussion between two characters.
The idea that the military employed a guy to go to a foreign country to beat up but not kill terrorists is hilarious

man you sound dumb as hell right now lmfao they didn’t discipline him because he killed him, they disciplined him because he got caught doing it

It’s Disney. They’re not getting that political.

I feeel you. I just thought that was an obvious next step thematically but instead the government all were painted to be 100% morally sound who all were cool with stripping JW of his position and punishing him which idk didn’t feel like it fit fully for the show.
But I liked the direction and I liked John getting angry with them all saying they’re the ones who made him the way he is
