Episode was fire!

But it kinda felt like they needed to fast track some of the John Walker stuff in the very beginning. Like he was unusually unhinged when he's waiting for Sam to finish with Karli. The story there should of been him anxious to catch Karli AND bring Zemo back into custody as a means to prove himself as the new Cap.

It was a missed opportunity but overall I feel like they stuck the ending. Maybe his arc wasn't about that and he's just a traumatized vet...

I think it was more about him being overstepped by falcon and bucky. He believes his jurisdiction should hold more weight which is why he stood up and tried to get past bucky like a tough guy because he is “captain america”
And he does try and capture zemo he literally had him cuffed while waiting along with trying to fight for him after

when we literally saw that NOT to be true in this ep 🥱😒

he is being overstepped because they don't believe he's worthy of the shield and don't respect his "jurisdiction"

which is why imo he was anxious to complete the mission to prove himself.

No where in that post am i saying he didn't have dude handcuffed. I'm piggybacking off an earlier post talking about some of the show's lack of subtlety. There was a more nuanced way to go about that scene but this is a nitpick because I do think it worked out in the end

me saying they stuck the landing with the ending is acknowledging Lemar's comments about the serum/power just making you more of who you already are. everything he did in that last set piece is s\*\*\* he would of just done earlier had he possessed that power. So him being "unhinged" during that scene with Zemo handcuffed narratively tracks

the shield being stained with blood is basically the thesis of the show

kinda thought for a second that Sharon Carter was working for Power Broker

What if she works for the Flag Smashers? How did Karli find out about where Sam's sister lives?Maybe Sharon used the sattelite to tell Karli

I’m just picturing a unhinged Walker trying to step to thanos in Wakanda and getting knocked the f*** out instantly before he can even grab onto the gauntlet

they show her in Endgame as one of the blipped but if she was already underground how would they know?

maybe cap had her on speed dial in case for any booty calls

but then this raises another question

how she set up this black market s*** so fast?

unless she already had it set up post blip and came back and seamlessly picked it up... but like idk lol

this is only 6 months after endgame

Maybe they’ll explain it a bit more in the show but i’d imagine she connected to the right people after showing her talents
