as much as i hate the notion of those shows being canon or not if daisys really in secret invasion than we gotta accept it

Yeah I know I was joking
It’s honestly a bigger power move to be like all those shows that some of you guys don’t like are cannon now and I’m going to use elements from them
rather than recasting and laying all that ground work again.
I fw new Cap and I truly think yall got Old Cap's balls so lodged in your throats that yall cant see how similar the two are

It’s episode two, so this could change within time definitely but i don’t think they’re as similar as you make them out to be.

Both have the same attitude towards their job. Bruh been nothing but cordial and professional to Bucky and Sam and they've been d***s the whole time(Understandably, but still d***s).
Him saying "Dont get in my way" at the end to them is definitely something Steve would say.
Now if new Cap is revealed to be a racist d***head then aight bet then we can hate on him, but for now he seems pretty chill, and the only time he hasnt been chill is when niggas been constantly hating on him.

Not really b. I mean Cap wouldn't operate the way this army nigga doin
But they have similar ideologies tho
Bucky an loser
Breh is like 104
The only place he goin for a date is a nursing home.

What you think he'd be doing different?

wouldn’t say i hate Walker or anything and that there’s no similarities with Steve.
but it definitely feels like there’s a antagonistic feel when he’s telling Sam & Bucky to not get in his way as if he’s frustrated that he’s not just given immediate respect by them. (Sorta like a kid not getting his way)
He has to earn that respect, the way he’s talked to them has been sorta disingenuous and missing the point of how Steve saw them.
Steve didn’t see Bucky and Sam as sidekicks he saw them as equals
I don’t feel that Walker gets that when he’s trying to convince them and to me that’s an underlying subtext of Walker not seeing BattleStar as a equal but as his sidekick. 🤷🏻♂️
What you think he'd be doing different?
There was a conviction to the OG Cap that I feel is missing with Walker, not to mention they handle conflict in much different ways. Check how s*** went down in Civil War Vs how this army dude confronted Sam and Bucky
The most aggressive Steve as ever been with someone was in Avengers when Tony kept egging him on

I see
under the influence of the scepter too
I see
“It’d be a whole lot easier if i had cap’s wingmen by my side”
Sam didn’t like that and he knows Steve never viewed his team like that
under the influence of the scepter too
that’s right, that’s true ^ Cap has almost never been this aggressive and personal with someone in this manner.
The scepter influencing him and everyone else around only further makes my point that he isn’t that kind of dude. Never has been
@maruchinn
noT My BuckY
i wanna see a gay s***scene if that's the case

You’re basing the new Cap off one episode, compared to the Cap we’re used to for 10 years
Who knows how this new Cap will turn out by the end of this series.
This episode was great.
The Isaiah scene was powerful.
hope we see him in action

Hopefully he gets his props or some s***. I’m sure they’ll do something like that.
