but it definitely feels like there’s a antagonistic feel when he’s telling Sam & Bucky to not get in his way as if he’s frustrated that he’s not just given immediate respect by them. (Sorta like a kid not getting his way)

He has to earn that respect, the way he’s talked to them has been sorta disingenuous and missing the point of how Steve saw them.
