Maybe Stark would have made the legion initiative like a mini iron man army that would help with fodder

As for Thor & The Guardians, s*** would have mostly played out the same for them except that Thor, Rocket, and Groot would land in NY early and that Thanos probably would have left Titan earlier to head to Earth with most of the other guardians either dead or having never arrived in time before he left.

Avengers would have had a much better fighting chance

I’m a little confused, why would Tony be in charge of paying the Avengers? He didn’t start the group, he was kinda sorta chosen like everyone else, no?
