about wanda's origin did they recton this ? i dont recall her and pietro being that young in age of ultron
ye that's weird, they just throw pietro issue around but she stays unclear for a reason
I don't think they retconned their ages, she looks the same as she did in that post-credit scene of The Winter Soldier. They never fully explained their origins besides that the Mind Stone was used in some way, they just made her a more special being now instead of just an experiment, which I love
This was the most emotional episode for sure and both Lizzie and Kathryn killed it.
I was so sure Agatha was gonna say that she’s a mutant lmao. I think they’re saving that reveal if that’s the case. Still so much to learn about her origin aside the fact that the Mind Stone activated her powers. The conversation with Vision in her room hit hard tbh. And White Vision vs Vision finna slap.
Can it be next week?
"Being of spontaneous creation" does sound a lot like mutant but I think they might make her somethnig different, who knows...
Even in this episode they could've went deeper into some lines but they just didn't for some reason
Wanda's origin is just partially explained... Like now we know she had her powers before the infinity stones.. but how? Also Pietro not being explained more... They're leaving so much for the last episode
That was a big hint at the x-gene
"I have a theory for now"
EP 6
Don’t try to fight the CHAOS. Don’t question what you’ve done. The game can try to play us. Don’t let it stop the fun. Some days, it’s all confusion. Easy come and easy go. But if it’s all illusion. Sit back, enjoy the show. Let’s keep it going. Let’s keep it going. Through each distorted day. Let’s keep it going. Though there may be no way of knowing. Who’s coming by to play

It could mean multiple things though... In the comics they actually retconned her being a mutant...

I could see how she is tied to Witches but Mutant just makes more sense being that her brother has a completely different power set. I forgot what they were retconned to in the comics though. One thing for sure as of now, they’re not Magneto’s kids. As of now. They could throw her in an X-Men film and explain it the though.

No she always had her powers but Strucker's experiments with the stone activated "what otherwise would've died" i think Agatha said. She's a mutant

That was in thoses years of them wanting to get rid of the X-Men and replace them with the inhumans. But we're wayy past that now lmao

They could go the mutant way, which makes the most sense, they could go the High Evolutionary mutant way which makes a bit less sense to me (which is the retcon they did) or they could go the Chthon way
The MCU pulls from the comics only the stuff that works
Or they pull stuff from the comics that didn't work and make it work though
The silhouette of her in her final form
I got Dark Phoenix vibes
I feel like we can't really be sure of anything with the MCU they sometimes choose very random storylines, so acting like 1 storyline makes the most sense doesn't really work... I mean look at the whole Mephisto storyline everyone was so sure about
Or they pull stuff from the comics that didn't work and make it work though
But they dont need to.
The retcon of Wanda's origins was made during Perlmutter's years. He had a f***ing boner for the inhumans and wanted to get rid of the X-Men lmao as the films division didnt have the rights to them. But we're way past that tho and the mutants returned to prominence in the comics

I never said they have to go either way... All i'm trying to say is we can't be sure which way they go
Mutants makes the most sense to me

tbh good way to introduce this
Does make me wonder how they will "activate" the other mutants, maybe they do have a "more mutants" moment..

Yea same here.
Of course, the writers left things ambigious enough to keep the mystery going. But i bet we'll have a definite answer next episode especially if Evan Peters is indeed playing QS pulled from the X-Men movies universe

One of the fake leaks had her say "No, More Mutants" instead of "No More Mutants"
Huge fan fiction vibes but i liked it

Yeah the wording is definitely chosen very carefully. They easily could have Agatha say Mutant instead of "being of spontaneous creation"

IF that happens I wonder how they make her suddenly love mutants so much that she wants more within the span of 1 episode, she still doesn't fully know she's a mutant. Lowkey doesn't even make sense for her to create more mutants at the moment. Maybe somehwere later in Dr Strange 2 or something
