Daily reminder this all could have been avoided if they hopped on Tony’s Iron Legion idea

None of this wouldve happened if Odin wasnt a d***head

(I’m mostly f***ing around) If you think about it you can trace the majority of the Infinity Saga events back to Odin. Biggest event being shunning Loki, making him run to Thanos, giving him the location of the Tesseract, which leads to Loki getting the scepter, which leads to Hydra getting the scepter, making Wanda, who makes Tony make Ultron but also causes the Lagos bombing, both which causes the accords (and Zemo) which splits the Avengers, severely handicapping them for Thanos’ arrival.

Theres also things like indoctrinating then imprisoning Hela, hiding the reality and space stones irresponsibly, etc

It certainly would have helped with the battle of Wakanda

I feel like a lot of things happened for Thanos to finally start going for the stones himself actually

Some people think Odin dying was one of the factors, since he was defending Earth

Stark holds responsibility for his weapons manufacturing leading to Wanda and Pietro’s disillusionment with Stark Industries.

Yeah I always liked the thought that Thanos didn’t fully go forth with his plan until word that Odin was dead

True but I left that out seeing as the twins would’ve ended up with Hydra regardless of who made those weapons, which would pit them against the Avengers anyway. Tony would’ve still been a target seeing as Iron Man was already a controversial figure overseas

I think i added it in because it seemed like that event really influenced them hardcore to be radical and get into hydra experimentation.

Nah you right tho but I personally never bought into the “Stark was all to blame” thing there. War is war and like Zemo said Sokovia was f***ed regardless. I’m sure the twins were at those protests for more than just the name on the missile. It definitely added to their motivations but in any situation where they end up opposing the Avengers, Ultron is born imo
