Atp I'm genuine curious like, would a blade movie really make that much money? That has to be what the true issue was right?

If they do it right, promo it right, make it interesting, we will be there no matter what
Blade is much more intriguing than Ant Man or Captain Marvel for casuals

No way you think a Blade movie won't do numbers. The issue is they want to make a Blade movie their way.

If they wanted to do it "their" way, it would be out by now then wouldn't it?
On one hand it is frustrating that it's taken so long to get if off the ground, on the other hand it seems like they do care about getting it right.
If they didn't we could've had another Quantumania on our hands

I just don't see blade having the whole "Deadpool is still R-Rated in the MCU" effect, if that makes sense. like I think there's a very large vocal minority that obv wants this movie made, I'm a part of that group, but maybe they assumed that the people crying so hard about wanting it wouldn't show up in droves. Or, an even worse fate, they'd nitpick the s*** out of what they got and wouldn't accept it as kino, ESPECIALLY in this current phase of marvel where ppl are enjoying kicking them while they're down. Wouldn't be the first time
Absolutely pathetic
Maybe they just testing the waters for the MCU version of the character
Maybe they’re scared we won’t accept anyone but Wesley so this is a test the waters type situation

8 years later lmfao

Yet they ve pumped out multiple f***ing ant man movies in the meantime lmaoooo
Do we really buy this Blade stuff?
Every other month there's a positive report, then negative, then positive again

There’s no way it’s possible with all the leakers but it would be dope if they could surprise drop the movie on some album s*** lol
Yeah idk they definitely scared tho
It just boggles my mind why considering some of the projects they ve put out the last 5 to 7 years blade is far more of a sure thing if they just stuck to basics but they seeemed hell bent on doing the whole “daughter and mother of blade carry”
I see it how they scared to recast Black Panther
The cynical side of me thinks they wanted to take advantage of the mourning for Chadwick for movie 2 to get all the box office from honoring him and are going to recast him shortly, potentially in doomsday

That part, you would think they would itching to drop Blade to save themselves

I wouldn’t put it past Hollywood no doubt

It is possible that Wesley snipes popping up in Deadpool 3 scared them cuz that got hella acclaim especially the “only ever one blade” line

Yeah they set themselves up with that s*** lmao like ofc we want to see Snipes as Blade again but if nothing else they should know the black community gonn show up for Marshal, we love dude

That was a really stupid line but it was too fye

You can at least sell that as a "family friendly quirky adventure" yadda yadda plus Paul Rudd is a genuine star
Idk how an R-Rated action movie without the comedy bullshit would fare although I want it to succeed

Yeah I much preferred the Deadpool 1 vibes when Deadpool was the only character winking at the camera lol
