Spider Man has always been a poor loser, who fumbles b****es, geek, nerd, glasses

This only defines his character in retellings of his origin, but y’all who don’t even read comics come in here on a soapbox about your limited reference framed by a couple films. He doesn’t even fit this stereotype in the animated series
Peter Parker = eternal geek stereotype is a myth started by mfs who only really know the Raimi films and pretend that makes them an authority on Spider-Man. The guy has been consistently drawn like Jake Gyllenhaal prototype since Romita was penciling and Stan Lee was writing for Christ sakes

If peter parker is a good looking guy that doesnt struggle with finances, funded by a billionaire, doesn't struggle with grief from uncle ben, doesnt work a job

- got his uncle killed because he couldn’t afford chocolate milk
- couldn’t speak a full sentence to Gwen yet somehow they fall in love
- made a promise to Gwen’s dad on his deathbed to leave her alone so she wouldn’t be in danger. Breaks the promise before his body’s even cold
- Gwen’s dad ends up being right and Gwen dies
