Forgot to ask but is Iron Fist worth checking out? I’ve heard nothing but not good things about it

I personally think it’s the worst show with the marvel name attached to it . There’s some cool fight scenes sprinkled throughout tho
No way they tried to have a deaf child yell out the car window I am deceased laughing
Some of the worst acting I've seen in the MCU with those opening minutes
But expecting better things past the starting point

Inhumans exists
I give this a 6/10. Not the worst thing I’ve seen in the MCU, but not the greatest either. I enjoyed the fight scenes and Kingpin scenes. Also, I like the ancestors tie in to Echo’s powers, but overall the plot was weak.
If Alaqua has million fans i am one of them . if Alaqua has ten fans i am one of them. if Alaqua has one fan then that is me . if Alaqua has no fans, that means i am dead. if the world is against Alaqua, i am against the world.
2nd favorite MCU show so far for me
Loki 7/10
Echo 6/10
Hawkeye 5/10
Moon Knight 5/10
WandaVision 5/10
Ms Marvel 4/10
Secret Invasion 3/10

Ranking anything lower than the absolute turd that is Secret Invasion is a cardinal sin

Absolute garbage but Samuel L Jackson is the goat so i have to bump it from 1 to 3 in respect of him
show was dull and boring. stale acting and filmmaking. no heart no soul. TV-MA is just for show but it's hardly that different from the average marvel movie/show besides showing blood. there is no sexual activity, no cursing, no real adult themes. it still feels like a show that was made for a younger audience. not even sure why we got the mature rating...
We truly live in the best era of television.
Echo is leagues better than all those CW superhero shows, and those things were hyped tf up back in the day.
streaming era series are another beast entirely

Yeah, this was dog s***. Up there with the worst of Marvel TV so far (Secret Invasion, F&TWS, etc.)
Finished the first 4 eps this show has been really good imo. Love the standalone spotlight s*** marvel has going on
3 episodes in and I’m really enjoying it
Page full of haters
These mfs refuse to enjoy anything
idk how it’s so bad. I like it more than ms marvel, secret invasion, hawkeye & falcon/winter soldier

crazy The Flash predates Daredevil by only a couple months
that style of superhero tv definitely started to feel worn and obsolete as the years went on
Finally finished
ECHO
Echo is a fairly solid standalone outing in the MCU. It’s something that works well enough on its own where you can go into it without having seen anything else. If you have seen Hawkeye and especially Daredevil, certain elements of this show will be enhanced.
I grew to like the character Maya Lopez but I have grown to love Alaqua Cox as an actress. I do hope to see her do more both with this role and outside of this role in other projects. Not being Native American myself, I can’t speak on how well this represents the Choctaw, but I do enjoy learning more about Native American culture in general.
Vincent D’Onofrio’s return as Kingpin in this was done well. I love seeing him in this role and I’m am eagerly awaiting his and Charlie Cox’s return in Daredevil: Born Again. The bigger action set pieces were done well, it felt closer to the mature stuff we got from the Netflix shows.
I grew to like some of the supporting cast, like Chula, Henry (who I would love to see again in another street level project), and believe it or not Biscuits. Bonnie on the other hand felt underwritten. Her presence is really only important in episode 3, whereas she’s kind of nothing in 4 and feels randomly inserted with the powers but especially in 5.
This show does have other weak points however. It feels like it was chopped to bits in the edit. Maybe what originally was in this show didn’t amount to something solid, but you can tell things were missing. Also, like many of the Disney+ MCU shows up to now, the finale is rushed and doesn’t pack a huge punch like a finale should. The show is a little slow as well so there are times where it lost me a little bit.
The negatives don’t drag this show down to the gutter, but I do think most of these Marvel shows on Disney+ have the same thing in common, they feel like extended movies. Hell, Echo alone could’ve been edited to a two and a half hour movie with keeping in all the footage. For the future, I hope Marvel makes these shows more like shows and less like chopped up films.
Overall, Echo is solid with nice representation and great action. The story could’ve been better but I partially blame Marvel’s current format for that. The idea of Marvel Spotlight is good to see and I hope it continues on into the future.
