Feel like with the MCU since the characters brand is so tied to the actors themselves, Recasting major roles makes it difficult for them although I think they definitely should in this case
It’s like since Majors has a bad rep now so does Kang the character
& Lowkey the success of Robert Downey as Ironman is to blame for that
Not him necessarily but Kevin for thinking that can apply to every character
