"But some internal sources suggest Alonso was a scapegoat and point to the “She-Hulk” VFX issues as a symptom of a deeper rot — namely a lack of oversight on script development. In the original arc of “She-Hulk,” a flashback of star Tatiana Maslany’s transformation into her Hulk character didn’t take place until Episode 8, the penultimate episode. But after Marvel’s brain trust watched footage, it realized the scene needed to happen in the pilot episode so that audiences could see more of the character’s backstory early. That meant that the VFX team was tasked with fixing the mess in postproduction.
“The so-called bad VFX we see was because of half-baked scripts,” says one person involved with “She-Hulk.” “That is not Victoria. That is Kevin. And even above Kevin. Those issues should be addressed in preproduction. The timeline is not allowing the Marvel executives to sit with the material.”
If he’s guilty, just recast him with another talented actor. It’s really that simple
Look the best course is to recast Majors, cancel a couple things (not all of it obv), streamline the schedule to 2 movies and 2 shows a year and push through to Secret Wars
When they reboot after Secret Wars they will have all their toys and they can start fresh
Recast with whom tho
If they cut Kang’s arc short, and make Doom the main villain…Marvel will be making another big mistake
Commit to your vision. Don’t rush through s***.
That’s why things are already a s*** show now
yeah MCU is donezo. they gotta end this s*** man lmfaoo

they have to see it through at this point. Victor my GOAT and a way better choice than Kang but we're too deep in + it may actually turn out good
Next year SHOULD be okay
Cap 4 seems like a safe bet so long as we don't hear about some crazy s***. Deadpool 3 is a super safe bet regardless
Thunderbolts maybe(?) should be either cancelled or relegated to a Disney+ show
I think the issue I'm starting to see is that they're trying to do mini multi project stories within a saga that should be focused on the multiverse. That's fine if they're sequels to certain projects but like why is Thunderbolts going to be the "sequel" to Cap 4? Those stories (as far as we know) have nothing to do with the multiverse.
But also I think the general public is getting tired of the multiverse because everyone and their mother is playing with the concept. I don't have the problem with it because I love the concept (and tinfoil hat think it's definitely a possibility) but I understand the fatigue of that and superhero content in general.
When we are getting things like Gen V, The Boys, and Invincible, there is quality competition coming from outside DC and Marvel so people have quality to turn to.
Recast with whom tho
I've seen people say Damson Idris, which seems like a good choice
If they weren't able to save Echo in post, they need to just can it, its the worst time to drop another ok at best project especially if The Marvels isn't good
They starting to sound like pre-Gunn DC tho
Turns out they are copying more than one thing from Snyder
@Brave
Was an Echo show needed to fit this saga? Absolutely not.
Agatha? Most definitely not.
When making the MULTIVERSE SAGA, you focus on the parts that will end up contributing to the big finale. Introductory series & movies like Moon Knight, Shang-Chi, She Hulk, etc. are more than fine because those character build out the universe and will more than likely play a part in the finale. But a spin off of a spin off might be digging too deep.
As much as I would love to see the visual media be just like the comics, the truth is that they are two completely different areas of output. Comics are cheap to make and are also very optional to read. Fr example, if you start the Echo book and don't finish it, that shouldn't diminish your enjoyment of a project that she might appear in with Daredevil. And when they do bring someone in who has a change based on their own story, most comics just have a quick bubble referencing the single issue where something happened to them. Comic issues take at most 20 minutes to read and are standalone pieces to read.
But going into The Marvels, you'd have to watch like 12 hours of Television to get the backstory for Monica and Kamala. I did that, but did my friend who might want to see the movie? Most likely not.
At the end of the day Marvel got too big, too fast. They tried to do something to replicate the way comic books were and were not successful. Take that with the overwhelming amount of projects that made it harder for them to do some quality control and we get where we are now.
Guardians 3 worked so well because it was a self contained story that takes place in the universe. Movies like Shang Chi are like that too but Guardians felt like it was totally separate from the machine that is Marvel Studios. The machine that needs maintenance after running smoothly for a decade.
I'll be honest if I had to cut the slate down starting next year until Secret Wars, it would look like this:
Deadpool 3
Cap 4
Daredevil
Fantastic Four
Spider-Man 4
Shang-Chi 2
Kang Dynasty
Secret Wars
