After rewatching infinity war and endgame they really should have stopped the current mcu there or give it a break and switched to the ultimate verse. Infinity war was a perfect mcu movie, and endgame wrapped the infinity saga perfectly going back in time to previous marvel movies and all the payoffs in the final fight.

I just rewatched them and I somewhat agree,
Also was striking to me how much better of a movie Infinity War is than Endgame. Endgame was a great moment but replay-ability wise it doesn’t hold up to Infinity War standard.

Endgame was just mcu wrap up. Plus in infinity war you actually got to see different characters interacting more. They should have just gave us a mcu break and try to switch it up. It was rough going too far from home through the eternals. And now since no way home every movie is a bad infinity war attempt for movies that don’t need it. I think switching to the ultimate verse would would have been an interesting way of refreshing and still being able to introduce multiverse and build up to secret wars.

I think I'm gonna rewatch the MCU in chronological order including the other Spider-Man films

I feel like the reason people reminisce on these scenes is because they feel earned.

There’s weight to what’s happening and that’s actually what a lot of people mean when we say we want MCU movies with a serious tone again. The character decisions and all the travesty in the movies now just happen and feel flat
