bad take from QT. movie stars are more celebrated than ever now a days lol. i ofc see what he is saying, and more than people want to admit, you can put just about any actor in any super hero role playing any character, and it would work for the most part, ppl can b**** about casting all they want but it does not make or break them going to the theater. but the "actor" has been dead lol. no one cares about acting ability. these people are just celebs, not actors... for the most part

It's not a bad take and you pretty much explain his point towards the end lol.

Yeah. Movie stars aren't discernible from any other type of celebrity these days, there's no special aura about them anymore. But blaming Marvel for that is silly. It's just how things have evolved in terms of exposure, social media, etc.

I think QT is only half right here. People care about Chris Evans playing Cap. They may not go see another Chris Evans movie but you can’t just throw a random guy in the suit and have people care either. Everyone wanted to see Tobey as Spidey again, not just 3 Spider men teaming up

    everytime this nigga talks...

I think it's safe to assume Chris is tired of the direction Thor's character has been taken . And he is ready to just wrap up the character

You look at Thor 1 and 2, they were quite similar. Ragnarok and Love and Thunder are similar. I think it’s about reinventing it. I’ve had such a unique opportunity with Infinity War and Endgame to do very drastic things with the character. I enjoy that, I like keeping people on their toes. It keeps me on my toes. It keeps me invested. I’ve said this before but when it becomes too familiar, I think there’s a risk in getting lazy then because I know what I’m doing. I don’t know if I’m even invited back, but if I was, I think it would have to be a drastically different version in tone, everything, just for my own sanity… laughs Thor lost his mind that last one. He’s got to figure it out now.

The Holiday Special was a lot of fun. Very sweet and I would come back to it yearly.

Also did a good job setting up some stuff for Volume 3

Mantis being Quills sister is a nice twist and should change the group dynamics a bit

Tired of serious Thor, now he tired of comedic Thor, but comedic Thor actually works, when taika’s involved

  • Nov 25, 2022

I think role fatigue from actors is what the mcu studios should focus on more. They have to start writing better tie ins- Easter eggs- phase plots moving forward between each movie.

I’ll be honest this phase barely set up much if anything.
