Agreed. Seeing as they skipped over Ultron in the commercial timeline and he got two namedrops, I’m really holding out hope for an actual physical appearance. Xavier nor Erik would have the emotional or thematic impact that Pietro did in this episode. Comic history aside, these versions don’t know each other. Thanos (Infinity War version) would fit the overarching theme of processing trauma, grief, ptsd, all that good stuff, while still being a complete left turn that nobody would see coming. :mero:
