so now that we got 6 d+ marvel shows (wandavision, tfatws, loki, what if, hawkeye, moonknight)
and also got 6 netflix marvel shows (dd, jj, luke cage, defenders, iron fist)
which one yall like more ? like overall?
id say d+ is more consistent but daredevil is still easily the best
d+ 3/6 for me. netflix 1/6
Disney+ > Netflix
The main issue with the Netflix shows (outside of the first season of Daredevil) is they really stretch out the season with so much unnecessary s*** that hurts the pacing so much. Some of the Disney+ shows have some pacing issues, but not on the same level the Netflix ones do.
Daredevil Season 1 is still a 10/10, and I don’t think anything is really gonna top it anytime soon. 2 is godlike in the first half, and then Elektra shows up
. 3 is really good too (but still has some problems imo)
Jessica Jones had strong first season, but season 2 was REALLY bad. All the stuff with her mom is real wack, and just gets so repetitive and annoying after awhile. And mind you, it’s like 14 episodes that are all almost an hour long, so it gets draining fast lol.
Luke Cage was alright the first half of his first season, mostly due to how great Cottonmouth is, but then Diamondback shows up and is horrible followup with some of the worst acting across all the shows
Season 2 is mostly mid/forgettable
Iron Fist
Punisher was incredibly carried by Bernthal. Most characters are mid/nothing. Season 2 is straight bad.
Then there’s Defenders, which wasn’t worth the wait very much. Charlie Cox and Krysten Ritter are trying their best to carry it, but feels much flatter compared to any of the shows. The actors just don’t have much chemistry. Which is something that could’ve been improved if they kept pushing side characters that the audience doesn’t care about/ already got enough of like Foggy.
And the Disney+ shows aren’t perfect at all, but I feel though as if they are spending time with characters in a much more effective and efficient way, whether they are main ones or side ones. Also, each show feels different compared to the Netflix ones. The Disney+ shows do have a villain problem though, which is something I think is very strong on the Netflix side for the most part. Maybe Moon Knight will break that curse.
I still think Daredevil and Punisher even at their worst are better than the Disney+ shows. I like a good portion of Wandavision, think Loki is fun but nothing special, and it’s hit or miss episode to episode with Moon Knight. Falcon & Winter Soldier and Hawkeye are just not good to me. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are also just better written and directed than the Disney+ shows for the most part.
Calling it now next episide will end revealing his third personality and it’s gonna be that New York/Boston accent we see him do briefly beginning of this ep

Iron Fist
thast crazy
It finally took episode 5 for this to get interesting
Was genuinely kinda boring up until this point
Just saw that the finale will have the shortest runtime of all MCU show finales
Only 42 minutes long

5 minutes of Marc coming back to life
10 minutes on how Steven comes back/how he’s gonna coexist with Marc within the same body moving forward
10 minutes bringing Konshu back
2 minute Moon Knight powers coming back scene
5 minutes reconciling with Layla / telling her the full story of her dad dying
10 minutes stopping harrow

Lowkey worried the finale will fall victim to how the other MCU shows ended up
Starts off promising, the middle of the show is the strongest parts and create a lot of dope possibilities. But by the time you get to the finale there is still so much ground to cover with barely any time left.
So we end up just getting a final fight, and the rest of the story cuts corners in order to wrap everything up
Best MCU D+ show by a mile
Can’t wait

Where’s the 8 minute credits fit in 🤨

I really wish I could see what a lot of folks see in Daredevil S1, but I'm glad it made other creators step up their game in terms of superhero TV shows
I just caught up on the last 2 episodes. Wow, Asylum was outstanding. I think it was one of the best, if not the best, singular episode in MCU television so far.
Oscar Isaac should be a strong award contender for this role.
Prior to this I had Loki as the top MCU show to date. This could top it. At the very least it'll be in the top 2.
