Just going to take this 1000 page post opportunity to say Wandavision was underrated and got a lot of unjustified hate during and after the show. Only proper critique was that the finale was phoned in, but Episode 1 to 8 was top tier. Up there with Loki, EASILY.

it was very highly rated. it got 23 emmy nominations and has 91% on RT.

don't let the 50 to 100 people you've seen online b****ing about it fool you

Aight, yeah, my post was mainly speaking of the sentiments in this thread at the time. Didn't even realise it was that highly touted

Had by far the strongest first couple episodes, felt truly unique and dope

Then once they started focusing outside the bubble, the quality nosedived sadly. Wanted to love it too, love that surreal s***

Disagree. It's only natural to start moving outside of the bubble and exploring it. As far as I remember, I felt they handled it just fine. I stand by saying that just the finale was lacking, but most people were just upset because their theories and reaches weren't coming true and blaming it on the show.

How ‘Moon Knight’ Harnessed the Power of Egypt’s Top Creatives — And Even Flew Over a Taxi Driver — to Push for Authenticity and “Avoid the Orientalist Look”

    hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/moon-knight-mohamed-diab-authenticity-egypt-1235124803

Director and executive producer Mohamed Diab says this was key to his mission and saw him hire top Egyptian composer Hesham Nazih, editor Ahmed Hafez and ensure that 90 percent of the Egyptian roles went to fellow countrymen.

Nah, no theories here, but the "fighting a copy of myself finale battle" got a little out of hand considering they wanted to pull double duty on it

And anyway, I mean the technical aspects got worse imo. The shorter aspect ratio and set design on the first couple sitcom eps were actually some of the most creative and compelling s*** the MCU has put out so far. The surreal nature was actually there, it didn't feel like a cheap copy, and I highly commend them for that.

But leaving the bubble doesn't necessarily mean that the plot has to die, the sitcom elements have to falter, the sets got worse, etc. Plus the reveal was pretty obvious considering the plot, it just didn't hold too much weight imo. Kinda some interesting setup for Dr strange tho, but whatever

The only thing I really dislike from WV was the Agatha Wanda fight but that’s about it. That show was a blast fr

    Episode 1 was amazing.

2 was extremely mid. CGI is embarrassing.

Thought this character would be more....idk.

    He feels like 'The Mask'.
