Can’t wait to see Feige’s live action acting debut
Since these are posted by the mods, does that mean they come only from verified sources? Everything is almost certainly true?! (Or was at some point in production?)

Thats insane. Matt in damn near every D+ show?
So Young Avengers are gonna form thru potentially the Hawkeye finale, Ms Marvel, Secret Invasion?? (Hulking?), Doctor Strange, and potentially a couple other projects.
Wong has recruited Abomination and Shang-Chi so far
And Daredevil may be putting together some sort of team as well? Moon Knight, Ironheart, War Machine/Vision??
Fury better get his ass back to Earth and collect his superheroes lmao, I'm getting confused

Given we have a general sense of the plot for NWH less than a month away, as well as pretty much every major plot point, I was puzzled as to why the story elements still seemed like a mess to me when bringing them together. I’m also pretty into trying to figure out the A story and B story of this film. But after a little referring to my storytelling and screenwriting knowledge, I’m 99% sure I get how it all comes together. ⛔️ SPOILER WARNING BUT YOURE ALREADY HERE SO 🤷‍♀️
We know the A story of NWH’s plot is solving Peter’s identity issues both literally and figuratively, and the B story is sending the Furious Five back to their original universes. While the midpoint is when the A story and B story come to a head, there is an aspect of the plot that provides why the A story and B story can even come to a head in the first place. My first question was ”what aspect of the plot makes it so the A story can clash with the B story in a logical way?”
I got stuck, and this is when I referred to another MCU superhero team up film featuring a magical cube macguffin that opens a portal on the top of a tower in New York with a green-clad grinning main villain for some answers: The Avengers. In The Avengers, the A story is stopping Loki and the B story is assembling the Avengers. While stopping a mischievous God has no inherent relation to assembling a team of special individuals, they can form relation in the plot because they are both the interests of Nick Fury, and he plans on using one as a solution to solve the problem of the other. In NWH, it becomes clear that Doctor Strange is why resolving Peter’s identity issues can form relation to sending the Furious Five back to their original timelines, as his sorcery is used to fix one issue while it allows for the other issue to arise.
In the A story of The Avengers (stopping Loki), there is an immediate potential danger; Loki stealing the Tesseract, and a big picture potential danger; Loki using the Tesseract to bring an army of Chitauri to Earth in order to conquer it. Once the immediate potential danger of the A story happens in the set up when Loki does in fact steal the Tesseract - turning Clint Barton into his puppet in the process - the clock is ticking for the big picture potential danger of Loki using the Tesseract for world domination to come to fruition. The immediate potential danger of the A story in NWH is Spider-Man’s identity remaining public knowledge, and the big picture potential danger is the endangerment of the universe and a supervillain using the knowledge of his secret identity to attack his loved ones…or worse. Due to Doctor Strange’s spell to make the world forget Spider-Man’s secret identity being botched, these potential dangers damaging the universe as well as endangering Spider-Man’s loved ones is an even greater possibility with alternate universe Spider-Man villains now out there who know his secret identity - especially the Green Goblin. We’ll get to him later.
This big picture danger becoming a real possibility is also why the B story becomes a goal: why Nick Fury decides to begin assembling his team, and why the Furious Five must be collected to be sent back to their original universes. However, something gets in the way in the pursuit of achieving the main goal of the B story, which is a problem as it opens the door for the bigger potential danger of the A story to truly come to light. In The Avengers, our protagonists have no interest in becoming the Avengers, which is a problem because it allows for Loki to come closer to securing world domination. Due to Peter being convinced by Norman Osborn to free the Furious Five in NWH, Peter does as much and inadvertently allows for the potential big picture danger of the A story to come true.
It is at the midpoint that the shortcoming of the B story fully brings the danger of the A story to fruition, thus the original goal of the B story is also forced to come to fruition in order to resolve the plot at the end of the climax. The midpoint of The Avengers sees the bickering of the to-be team, effectively lowering their defenses and making the Helicarrier vulnerable to an explosive attack set in motion by Loki (the midpoints of The Dark Knight and The Winter Soldier also come to explosive points). After Loki escapes, the team is apart, and beloved POV character Phil Coulson has died at the hands of Loki. If the heroes were more interested in actually working as a team, aka in line with the goal of the B story, would the Helicarrier have been as vulnerable to Loki’s attack and led to the death of Phil Coulson? If Peter didn’t prevent the banishment of the Furious Five, would a Norman Osborn in Goblin mode who was moments away from his death be present, allowing for Osborn’s inevitable switch to Goblin mode at Happy’s apartment - the same Goblin mode that made Osborn hellbent on attacking Peter’s heart - and lead to Goblin killing Aunt May (in yet another explosive way)?
This leads us to the second half of the second act where Ned brings the Petes in and they need to figure out how to solve the villains issue (like The Avengers need to put their heads together to stop Loki/Chitauri after the second half of the second act). We’ll probably get some science bro stuff here with the three Peters
Now that the midpoint has brought the A story and B story to a head, the conclusion will see the effect of the two stories coming together. This is where my thinking that the spell will be completed by way of everyone forgetting Peter rather than Spider-Man comes in (but I need to think about it more, so I’m definitely gonna update later itt with my thoughts on that ending). But I will say: the world forgetting Peter is a perfect marriage of this particular A story and B story and leads to the next era of Spidey seamlessly. Speaking of seams, we’re DEFINITELY getting a new red/blue suit made by Peter with a traditional end swing (Idk why this hasn’t been leaked yet maybe it doesn’t happen but IT HAS TO, only makes sense)
BONUS PREDICTIONSEdit: after rewatching the trailer AGAIN, Doc Ock helps the Spideys out in the third act (referring to my most recent post on page 84 pointing out Ock vs Electro at Happys apartment at the midpoint so go check that out). We may get a touching reunion moment between Ock seeing his Peter - brilliant but lazy - grown up, now fighting by his side
Holy s*** you predicted a lot right
Reading through this now man I’m glad I was not itt before I saw NWH. Y’all too good at this
Same Matt from Netflix?
Daredevil rocking kingpin’s s*** canon
Kingpin has a cane in Hawkeye too
Reading through this now man I’m glad I was not itt before I saw NWH. Y’all too good at this
Tbf not only did a lot come out, but the general story was easy to piece together
Doctor Strange on the other hand…that s*** is wild

Ayo did you f***ing watch the movie last month??
Ayo did you f***ing watch the movie last month??
Lmao y’all should’ve known what the specific callbacks and major beats would be
Plus when you know what the thesis, A story and B story of a movie will be, everything else falls into place
Lmao y’all should’ve known what the specific callbacks and major beats would be
Plus when you know what the thesis, A story and B story of a movie will be, everything else falls into place
But like a lot of this is pinpoint accuracy it’s wild
Hm…Doctor Strange’s A story/B story
Pretty sure the thesis is something along the lines of Strange needing to make a choice between his “human” side (hippocratic oath not to kill) and his sorcerer side (taking the utilitarian/good of the many) in regards to killing Wanda in order to save the greater multiverse. This very conflict has not only been the basis of Strange in the MCU thus far (which his decision to give up the Time Stone despite asserting his utilitarian standpoint to let Tony and Peter die reflects), but also the basis of Peter Parker in NWH. Pretty poetic stuff
It’s obvious that the immediate danger of the A story is the chaotic unraveling of the multiverse, and the big picture danger is a full-on multiversal hellscape. This latter danger must be prevented. For the B story, it’s all about Doctor Strange’s inner conflict
I wouldn’t be surprised if the midpoint is when Strange’s refusal to do what must be done comes to a head, leading to the catastrophe of when Wanda goes fully apeshit on the Illuminati/Strange, making Strange realize that he must kill Wanda going into the third act
There’s definitely a real Obi-Wan and Anakin in ROTS bent in Strange and Wanda.
I feel like Deadpool is gonna be in MoM
Dont put that evil on us
when it comes to leaks I can’t help myself but I must admit that it’s killing my initial enjoyment of these films
