“This guy sucks even though he’s pretty damn good at the role but because the heros in his SHARED universe appear that the STUDIO forces them to apart of for a span of 15 minutes or less, totally discredits him as the character as a whole”

I’m saying the studio won’t let him have a movie of his own cause the evidence shows he can’t carry it, not just cause of the cameos

Andrew was only out the game for 2 years before Tom he clearly couldn’t have been that bad for them to reach for a s***ty actor to make them billions for the next 10 years and have a consistent critic score for each film they make

But you know, Robert Downey, Jake Gylennhall and a circle jerk with Cumberbatch is what really made this franchise solidified and all it took was 30 minutes in total for them. Bravoooooo

2. He has a big social media following/is with zendaya(studios care about social media metrics a lot these days, even if they don’t translate)

3. He’s a great everyman placeholder

Holland is a perfect supporting actor. He’s in the odyssey as the main characters son. The studio knows a movie won’t hit the same if he carries the movie by himself. You know it too in your heart of hearts

1. Yes he got the role after 2 years after ASM2 flopped
2. Damn I didn’t know he was with her before Civil War and Homecoming this is news to me
3. So he’s great at playing Peter Parker got it
4. Whaaaaaaat, the guy that still looks like a teenager is not playing a Father in a story about a 10 year voyage that already has children prior to that. Colored me shocked

The combo of Tony’s mentorship in Homecoming (great film btw) + Far From Home being so ugly and boring really made people more comfortable talking crazy on Holland. Bro is a GOAT as Spidey he’s solidified

1. A movie flopping doesn't exclusively mean the main actor was bad, you know that. You're making bad faith arguments.

2. Don't play dumb, studios care about social media presence and its highly unlikely it didn't play a factor in him being signed in for 3 more films after no way home. Obv he didnt have that for civil war, he was a no name and still had the potential to hold films and grow into a star when he first signed on for spiderman

3. Sam worthington is an everyman placeholder. do you think jake sully from avatar is a top tier actor that could hold a blockbuster? the cgi and story do all the work for worthington, he bland af, so is holland. Worthington since avatar can't get a starring role in anything aside from a C tier movie (just like holland)

4. Keep deflecting from the fact that holland can't hold a movie by himself. You're only convincing yourself.

All I said is that Holland is part of the reason the studio won't make a solo spiderman movie, don't take it personally

It doesn’t take 2+ movies to find confidence in your franchise and lead lol
