don't tell me if you know but I wonder if they'll do a chadwick tribute in the Marvel studios opener or in another way. I mean it would make sense to do that for BP2 but BP2 is so far away that I could see them doing it here like they did for stan lee on captain marvel (iirc).

the marvel studios intro would legit be an emotional moment except for the fact that we already see it before each episode of the disney+ shows. still always nice to see it though and I wonder if they'll do something different with it

Florence motherfucking Pugh

Just got out of it s*** was fire

been listening to that opening song so much today. that song over the footage of the people in shipping containers and cages and s*** really hit. the fact that this movie has that attached to the front of it, and so many people are gonna see it is dope

the singers voice really work too. the vocal effect is kinda crunchy and sounds like over a phone and her voice sounds like a kids

Solid film. Pugh and Harbour were standouts. First MCU film in 2 years

sometimes great actors even when they have a fun role in a blockbuster show small glimpses of why theyre so great

the scene were florence was crying at the dinner table was so amazing. she was doing this subtle thing where she was holding it in and dry heaving and it was hilarious but so f***ing believable and nuanced

Not sure if I should watch it tonight on Disney+ or wait and go tomorrow night 😕

In short, had a really good time with this. Not perfect, almost great

non spoiler review:

the production design and cinematography were top notch. it looked beautiful.

the action sequences were pretty sick

pugh and harbour.... fugetaboutit. they were both so good. especially pugh as you've probably already heard a hundred times.

the family part of the story was excellent and the heart of the film and I loved it

this wasn't the best solo character MCU movie but it's up there with the better ones.

Glad to have had a good experience with the film
