Definitely feels like this movie represents the start of a new era of Timmy’s career. I’ve loved most of what he’s done throughout the years but he really got to display deeper areas of his talents in this. He touched humor and emotionality in way I hadn’t seen from him. Excited to see where he goes from here cause it’s only up

Safdies are the goat of opening credits omg. The uncut gems one was great but I busted out laughing when I seen the sperm cells. And the way the egg transformed into the ping pong ball, displayed the movie title and then transitioned into a ping pong match. F\*\*\*ing genius. Yea they gon have to give my boy Timmy the Oscar deadass even tho I have a soft spot for Ethan’s performance. I loved all the side plots too, this s\*\*\* wasn’t even really a sports movie, it was big tournament at the start and then at the end but everything in the middle was pure chaos of this dude trying to get money. And I definitely studied how Marty was a pure arrogant a\*\*\*\*\*\* BUT they first showed him being nice to the lady in the shoe store and making love to his girl and then the a\*\*\*\*\*\* s\*\*\* came in, but the great thing about his character is he’d do something f\*\*\*ed up but then be quick to fight for Odessa character when he thought she got beat on. She was just as unhinged too holy s\*\*\*. Also that ending was so bittersweet. Bro went from pure bliss and joy seeing his son for the first time but then you could see the depression sneak in of knowing he now has to settle, exactly what he didn’t want to do.

Bro I’d love an extra film of just Marty and Tyler going from city to city hustling
