Overall really liked it
The in between plot of securing the money at times was just hectic but that’s how it is. We only saw him train or learn a little bit between everything . In a way all the ways he made money : globetrotters , dog extortion , table tennis sharking . Helped him see how much he wanted it. Liked Gwenyth Paltrow in this . Odessa okay to solid performance . Tyler is just himself to the point it took me out of the movie at first . Cause I really don’t feel people talked like that back then . Still fun performance. Glad movie hugely successful . Also saw no other choice same day was a good pairing

I dont think they cared that much about making it time period appropriate dialogue lol Marty says other things in the movie that ppl weren't saying yet back then so it wasn't just Tyler's character (can't remember the example rn)

Wasn’t terrible it just took me out of it first time seeing him . Whole movie felt very wolf of Wall Street . The middle portion while chaotic was good .

Fair comparison it definitely has that unhinged, chaotic, borderline offensive vibe that WOWS had though I think Wolf went a bit crazier

The way Gwenyth was talking up how many s***scenes were done and rejecting the intimacy coordinator I was expecting something more graphic in that department for sure but it was pretty tame compared to other films

What’s the ending?? I heard Safdie saying there was an audacious OG ending that he wasn’t sure if it was awful or brilliant but it got shut down early on. Was it a callback to the mr wonderful vampire line? he was areal vampire?
