If you actually want to be serious — no. He’s too erratic and has no composure to be a serious player in big games. I also think his lack of dribbling ability is the biggest weakness to his game and a huge part of why he plays so wildly.

He’s basically at his best in free form counter attack transition games.

The best way to put is to compare how he plays to Odegaard. I don’t even rate the latter that highly but he’s far more of a David Silva type of player who sets the pace and dictates the play of a game. Fernandes simply doesn’t have the ability to play like that.
