I’d put it as simple as they bought the club purely to make $$$ and not to continue the success that was had in the 90s. They literally did all of it through debt financing, and basically are parasites that suck all profits out of the club to line their pockets, and put in charge an investment banker for the last 10 years that has been very largely responsible for how bad things have gone post fergie.

Factor in if we sign another mid, Eriksen likely is coming off the bench and he can also play in that 10 role. Pellistri I think could be just as good as nacho but we just do not have the opportunity for him here. He’ll go on to kill it for someone soon.
