oh and any forward wearing #2 will have something weird happen to them just don’t do that.
Eriksen injury hoping it’s not serious but he left on crutches tonight
Give Fred a run out he’s looking good

Didn’t even realise he was injured, but f*** that’s bad he’s just as important as Cas in progressing the ball hopefully it’s only a couple of weeks out
Just watched the match luckily had it recorded somehow and didn’t check skysports all day.
My thoughts:
-VAR is frustrating for two reasons: it’s consistently inconsistent, and it’s extremely slow. Make that s*** 10 seconds at most, and have clear rules in place on what and isn’t offside. It’s a joke and will ruin the sport just like nba did with their replays. We’ve made no progress on var for however many years it’s been in place no improvements.
-Maguire was great as was the whole back line really kept reading in check
-Casemiro might win the ballon for next szn at this pace if we get a proper mid next to him it will be a special season
-Eriksen invisible again but some nice passes he’s very much like late 00s scholes and would be quality option to have along with Fred off the bench
-Love werghost his presence is great and he’s a born winner with big time work rate
-Rashford is unstoppable currently looked like 2000s Ronaldo out there
-This was Antony’s best game in the shirt, he tormented that baba guy
-Bruno not best game but still in the action
-Clearly ETH is taking no chances, we’re winning a trophy this season no f***ing around
-Our chemistry is great I love how every goal is celebrated together
I thought VAR at the WC was a big improvement. Need the same offside technology in England

Hopefully this will let us get in a new midfielder this January. Cause I still think Eriksen is a good rotation player, but can not keep starting if we want to be a serious team.
The fact Carroll did this, got no card and was still sent off afterwards is hilarious to me

Then how was the Kane foul not a penalty in the first half. Agreed maybe better, but still I’d give it like a 4/10. In England it’s a 2/10

What was really great was the extra time. Finally they acknowledged all the time wasting. That was perfect.
Example of what I mean about NBA - inconsistent, and takes 5 minutes of commercials to decide something. We’re not far off from this here, and it will impact how many people watch, impacting ratings, impacting $$ eventually.

Idk but was more talking about we knew in 3 seconds if a goal was offside or not, they had some AI drawing the lines in half a second instead of ppl only hearing the goal’s offside it after a minute of celebrations. Fouls and s*** will always be controversial tbh, I think they need to make clearer rules on the handballs tho.

Yeah agreed it was better. The rashford goal yesterday I swear we’ve seen so many given like that and also called back. Need someone to make clear guidelines it’s not like there are 1000 variations of goals. They need like 25 clear rules with videos on what is / isn’t gonna be a goal. And then just shift that responsibility to a control room that says instantly if it stands or not. NFL started doing this and it has helped get their calls to a <5 second decision. I don’t think the ref on field should be running to a monitor to decide how he feels that day about a 50-50 decision.
Watching Roma v Napoli right now, Oshiman scored a crazy goal but is now down injured
I swear that’s this guys story, we don’t need another one of those

Sorry but I’m just gonna say it. We’re not getting Osimhen, Napoli has crazy owners and the more he keeps scoring the more they will overprice him. De Laurentiis gonna ask min 120 mil and if it’s Man United it will be 150 mil. We’re better of getting Vlahovic of a s*** and broke Juventus for 60 than Osimhen, regardless of the qualities of the player

For that price you want a sure thing too. If he’s breaking down in Italy, PL is far more intense + more games = he’ll likely have more injury issues. Look at that Andy Carroll tackle that happens all the time in PL it’s physical.
Edit: Andy had like 4 bad tackles lol what a menace
Remember that Napoli wanted 80+ mil for the mid ass Koulibaly?
They paid a lot for Osi to begin with too, I think it was a serie a record.
Or maybe not according to this: transfermarkt.us/serie-a/transferrekorde/wettbewerb/IT1/plus//galerie/0?saison_id=alle&land_id=alle&ausrichtung=alle&spielerposition_id=alle&altersklasse=alle&leihe=&w_s=&zuab=zu
Tf I didn’t know juve paid like 100M for Ronaldo???

That was just shady accounting tho

I agree but we gotta hope our new owners come in ASAP, the price of the brick is getting audacious
Chelsea about to drop 100m two times on Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez
Arsenal about to drop 70m on Moises Caicedo
Strikers are already such a rare commodity in the market, no matter who we get we are going to have to overpay. I just hope we have enough budget to the point where the striker doesn’t mean we miss out on another priority position like a CM
Bruh if Erikson is out we need to try and sign a midfielder in the next two days, could make or break our season
