ANTIA lot of it has to do with amortization. Take the Mudryk deal for instance. They spent 100 million on him but because of the length of contract they gave him, the total cost of his transfer fee + wages will be spread over the 7 year contract. Only about 30-40 million will actually go on the books for this season.
It's a big reason why they dropped out of the Enzo race so quickly, because a release clause would have to be paid in full up front.

Wouldn’t care if Arsenal win the league tbh, but City is making it so easy for them that Arsenal fans getting way too cocky. That’s why I hope we humble them so hard on Sunday, not for a potential title race, but just for the fact that Arsenal aren’t THAT good.
