Just seen if Casemiro or Fred get a yellow in the midweek game they will miss Arsenal

We can drop Fred midweek but Casemiro has to play every game literally lmao, we are a different team with and without him

But do i trust Cas to be a good boy

We could beat Palace with Eriksen, Bruno, and McTominay imo. It won't be as convincing but would you rather he misses that game or the Arsenal game?

McTerrorism to Newcastle say it ain't so

  • Jan 16, 2023

That City result was incredible, being the first team to beat them when they score first (think in two years)

AWB return to the first team has been great, great performance from him during that game. Especially that skill he did

And Rashford just keeps on scoring

Garnacho really brought that spark in the game when he came on

So what lmao, that’s not impressive when you look at the rest of the potential bidders involved - Google says he worth 15 billy United worth over half of that

At least I have a feeling he will run the club with passion and United best interests in mind. You can invest all the money in the world, but it won't mean anything if you're doing s*** without a plan (Boehly / Glazers). People kind of seem to forget that we have invested more into our squad than any other club in the last decade, the problem is that the people spending the money were inept. Ratcliffe doesn't seem so.

Also I can't get it over my heart lowkey to support oil money takeover when we have clowned Chelsea and City for it over the past 15 years and prided our self in getting money in a legitimate way.

Lets just say I'm team Ratcliffe

To be precise it's Ineos bidding, not so much solely him/his net worth.

Yeah gimme an American or English consortium or something just make sure there's not a looney tunes character like Boehly at the top

Ratcliffe is the only fully optimal outcome.

Look we’re not city or Chelsea. W have legitimate history and something that goes beyond having unlimited money to try to to win. The only way majority of fans will be happy is if youth and Manchester academy is at the core of the success, and oil money is not part of that vision.

Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are far from problematic. A large part of the company and his earnings… comes from oil. Let’s not pretend this guy is some benevolent billionaire.

It would be nice to get someone in charge who maybe commits fewer human rights violations than some of the proposed names, sure. But I don’t massively care who we get, to be honest. The sport is rife with horrid people and corruption.

There isn’t one legit billionaire out there, they have all played there hand in illegal business somewhere along the line, I’m all for Jim looks like he is the only one that understands the game and would have our best interests at heart.

And probably the only owner I would have faith in that wouldn’t get rid of ten hag, god forbid if that happened I would genuinely be heartbroken

Does Jim at Nice not ring any alarm bells for anyone?

What’s the deal with that, is it just that he hasn’t put much money in?

I hope it’s just the sake of owning a football club, and he would treat us a lil different boyhood fan and all…

Put a few non-football people in charge as I understand it. Money was spent unwisely and what not - washed up prem players. But attempts also made to rectify that. Nice did okay before the takeover and they've done about the same since.

  • Jan 18, 2023

I think the bar for us is pretty low; we are a behemoth of a club that are self sustainable (and should be far more comfortable footballing wise with a manager like ten Hag in charge) we just need an owner who will not take money out of the club and replace all the ā€œmoney peopleā€ with some ā€œfootball peopleā€

If new owners would sack Ten Hag I’d deadass stop supporting this club until they’re gone

    Fr

It’s not all rosey with new owners, most of the time they want to do things their way which normally includes a manager of their choice, look at Boely for Chelsea most recently

I’m confident Jim would know better but couldn’t say the same for the rest
