The consistent logic is that Antony and Martinez have already played multiple seasons under Ten Hag and knew exactly what was asked from them. Eriksen is a different case because we don’t really have any other player in that position similar to him. Case came in at a time when McTominay was suddenly playing as a Roy Keane regen. There was a lot of logic behind it, Ronaldo is just a cry baby.

Only issue there was was that we were flourishing with him on the bench that’s it.

I think the logic was pretty consistent.

The team from Liverpool all the way to Man City was always the same except for the attack due to either poor/out of form, or injury. Ronaldo wasn't match ready, Martial was hurt, Rashford even had a small injury during that time period. We were in such dire need up front that Elanga got a start against Liverpool.
