I think he has earned a bit more of a chance throughout his career. Look at Rashford. His performances last year looked like someone who should never play football ever again and he’s halfway decent again now. Ronaldo could easily pull it back and start performing like he did less than a year ago

Obviously we're not on the inside but from the outside where is the disrespect from Ten Hag? When he was first hired he spoke a few times about how excited he was to work with Ronaldo. He didn't start him early in the season because Ronaldo missed most of training and the preseason and his fitness wasn't match ready. He's gotten regular opportunities since the first month of the season and he hasn't done much with them. Ten Hag even made him captain against Villa last week.

Unless Ten Hag was among the people who didn't believe Ronaldo when his daughter was sick, which admittedly, would be a terrible look for Ten Hag... everything we're able to see points to Ten Hag being respectful towards him.
