Selling Garner because he's the only player of value that can help boost funds. But the irony is we'd be back here again very soon when we get average player like Rabiot and can't shift him in a year or two. Maybe we'd be selling Zidane by then.

July 2023 we’ll be dying for a player like Gardner to replace mctominay

please tell me how is the board failed him

They failed him by not having a competent scouting and recruitment structure in place, forcing him to opt for former players he’s familiar with rather than bringing him suitable options that fit his system

They failed him by not signing a SINGLE player before the tour after SIX left knowing he was very vocal about wanting to get business done early so the players can settle in

You know the glazers only care bout their dividend payment lmao. They run Man U as a business for their own profit and other shareholders

They don't run it as a football club. And theyre still making money off it. As long as they in control Man U seems doomed

The Glazers also don’t care about protests. The club is a money maker for them.

Buy a marquee signing here and there and the cotton wool is pulled over the eyes again.

So with Garner leaving how many midfielders do we need to sign before deadline day?

    Bruno
    Eriksen
    Fred
    McTominay
    Donny
    Martinez (?)

A defensive one. Bruno/Eriksen can't bee on the pitch at the same time.

McFred, won't even discuss, same with DVB

Martinez is not a midfielder and ETH has said so a few times.

I’m afraid Martinez could end up there by necessity at this rate

I was reading his pace was the issue at Ajax

I think he could be a great asset but not as a centre back. Just not built for the PL.

I'd try him over Dalot and have him and AWB as the full backs on Monday maybe.

If we do sell Garner then they have to put a ‘buy back clause’ there’s no guarantee he’ll go on to become good, but the thought of him being good and us then bidding 80 million for an ex player

Hilarious that the clauses they put when selling Zaha and Depay have yielded a grand total of 0m. Chelsea, Liverpool or Real would have got an extra bag from that

Remember Liverpool made money of the likes of Brewster we can’t even make money of the likes of Williams

If you don't use him as a centre back just sell him already, there's no point of using him as a left back or defensive midfielder.

Brewster, Ibe, the other guys from Bournemouth. They've been scamming. Meanwhile United can't sell no matter what. Too early, too late, right time? Doesn't matter still won't make more than 20m off a player

Why? He's a better player than Shaw (who's disappeared since the Italy goal)

Dalot is one of the worst full backs in the league and whilst AWB can put a tackle in, he's not much good at anything else

Malacia looks alright, but too early to judge.

It’s true, would rather he just get the chance. We know exactly what Fred and mctom are. Vdb isn’t good enough either and can’t play a deeper role. Gardner is an unknown, maybe he hasn’t impressed in training tho.

It's mad, we're 20th in the league for a reason

Worst midfield in the league by far

I can't express just how dog s*** Elanga is

I actually hate almost every single one of those players, easily the most unlikeable United squad of all time
