At this point these type of statements are made by closet Scousers.

You think we switch the owners and suddenly will be competing with top teams? All I said is the issue runs deeper Jesus. Never said I don’t want them gone

I mean it would take time but yes getting rid of the owners and replacing them with ppl who allow us to spend more and more importantly who hire people with actual football knowledge instead of these s***e internal nepotism/businessmen hires would largely fix things. everything starts from the top

I’m just watching the Barca line up and I’m really seeing how much a good director can change a team. He’s a son of a b**** that Laporta but he at least gets things done for his club I’m the transfer market, if you look at their team now and a year ago. John Murtough and Richard-Arnold have been horrible thus far. And this goes back to the Glazers as well tbh, can’t see them getting sacked till the Glazers are out.

Barça aint a good example tbh. Its good short term, but they'll have the same problems long term this way. They're just too big for LaLiga to really fall off. Besides that, they treat players like s***. Bad employer. Dont understand how the Fifpro just looks past that

I’ve said it for the last 3years but Maguire is simply not a world class defender

I just don’t see what these coaches see in him to start him game in and out

The fact that he’s also our captain is mind boggling

Also Martinez might be better as CDM

Yeah I know what you mean, but still players want to stay and players want to come even on reduced wages. We basically have all the money in the world and nobody wants to come.

Like I’m watching Kessie and I’m just thinking about how we were not even interested in him

Absolutely like just give him 1.5X what Barca offered at least try to do something instead of f***ing waiting 3 months for de jong

This team is lucky if they have 40 points in them.

Yeah I mean you’re right I guess I’m just frustrated after every loss complaining about the ownership feels helpless

Idk why you guys are moaning about the players still, we know, we need investment HEAVILY - but investment by people that know what they are doing. We don’t have those people or owners who want to get those people, until the glazers go it’s same old same old. Don’t take aim at that manager or players, it starts at the top.

The psychology of these players need to be studied. The pressure seems to be too much for them. They are probably convincing in training but once they step on the pitch with something to lose and fans demanding they perform well and win, they choke

Definitely. Most of them are just too far gone mentally. One too many maulings. Hard to come back from that. Nonetheless, doesn't excuse some of the super sloppy mistakes being made.

Gary putting in work - we just have no strategy regarding transfers or squad building and that does starts with the fat glazers.

This is the biggest problem with this team imo. Too mentally demoralized and unable to handle it. The fans don’t help but it’s totally understandable the reaction given how bad things are. It just makes things worse and worse though. There are talented players on the pitch that can turn up and play well at times but the inconsistency comes from a lack of confidence

  • Bruno needs to either sit or play out wide we are too easy to play through lately and need to experiment with a more compact midfield imo

Matter of time before Barca is at the same level if not worse than United

The quality of the club, infrastructure, and players has deteriorated but the expectations and scrutiny remain as if we were still under SAF.

If I was a football player right now the one place I would avoid like the plague is Manchester United. Irrespective of how much money they’d offer me

Ten Hag should honestly just walk away, there’s no way he was going to join if he didn’t get reassurances about transfers ect … 1 month in and he’s already been let down. He needs to make an example and just go for the sake of his career.

In a weird way, I’m happy the performances are bad so early. This puts even more pressure on the owners

Man Utd had this thing of starting off well then crumbling towards mid and end of season, specially under Ole

Now you can clearly see the players that can not be given more chances and need to be replaced
