Like I said in the post above, i support Ajax and see every match, and yes Martinez can play CDM. Especially on the ball he's great. In the counterattack he might miss pacing to intercept and make the run back tho. That's also why he got replaced there some time ago (by a worse player w more pace) and eventually ended up as defender where he was Ajax player of the season
