Here’s my a***ysis.

1sf half: good interplay in attack. Took our chances well, Liverpool could’ve scored 3 as well tho they just didn’t finish like we did. We built up from the back and dealt with Liverpool’s typical intense press really well. Shaw to me looked miles better than Malacia for now, but Shaw had opportunity to play with first team while Malacia barely touched the ball - was on back foot with the youth going against liverpools main squad. De Gea looked confident I liked how he came out to deal with danger. Sancho was great, martial good finish and defensive hustle paid off for the goal, rashford could’ve scored but scuffed his shot a couple times. 3 of them combined well up front. Bruno was lively. Fred better than mctom for sure can’t start season with mctom beside him but I believe in Fred alongside FDJ or another mid.

2nd half: Youth team. Diallo needs to hit a gym he’s far too small and pellistri from this match at least looks more developed. Heaton can’t be reserve keeper either he’s too slow. Bailly reckless as usual but good - pretty normal game for him imo…we didn’t have ball as much 2nd half Liverpool regulars were more dominant by far.
