This would be a very good transfer, just the kind of player we need in midfield to get more ‘football’ in it. A great defensive midfielder besides him and we would have a solid midfield once again.

I think Frenkie would be perfect at no. 6 for us. We've got Fred/Mctominay to break up play. Bruno for the final third. What we've missed is the press resistant midfielder who's comfortable getting the ball in our half and bringing it forward.

I haven't seen much of him at Barca. I know he's been used further forward because of Busquets. But at Ajax he was always used deeper and that's what he thrives at imo. I think Ten Hag will feel similarly.

Also, Pogba doesn't exactly have a position. His best position was already taken by Bruno.

Heard a lot of good things about Sangare from PSV as well.

Garner deserves some serious gametime too though. Would be pretty satisfied with promoting him, getting De Jong, and bringing back VDB. Keep Hannibal if we can give him enough gametime, otherwise loan him.

Thats midfield sorted. Then focus on a right winger - Antony or Raphina probably - and striker and centre back. And left back. And right back. Oh god it never ends.

Sangare is nowhere near good enough for United if I’m being honest. Decent player, but nothing special at all.
