It all sounds great. Why did they lose to benfica last week?

    I didn’t watch the match.

He’s maybe the most interesting choice (or Enrique?) and I like the idea of bringing VDS onboard eventually if things go well.

I just have no confidence that the Glazers will back him. Hopefully things will change with Woodward gone

Tough call between Enrique and Ten Hag for me

Even if he was a final candidate, Luis Enrique probably won’t join before the World Cup which is all the way in November

It was a Pep Man City classic type beat game — Ajax had all the possession and had a large amount of shots; only for Benfica to score against the run of play from a set piece against Ajax’s midget defenders.

It was a disappointing result, but in the grand scheme of things before Ten Hag’s arrival, Ajax were kicking rocks struggling to qualify for the CL and/or getting dusted in the Europa. He’s given them a bit of heritage again.

If he really impresses the people interviewing him and he's willing to join after the WC then continuing with Rangnick till the wc ends is an option

Plus just a silly goalkeeper error from Onana.

Cant tell you how excited I was when Ole got the job. One of my favourite players growing up. I remember playing Premier Manager 98 on my PS1 and would always swap him in before every game for Yorke or Cole.

But with a heavy heart, its time for a change. We're going nowhere. Same glaring mistakes month after month now. A shadow of what we should be.

I would get someone in now. Perfect time imo. Gives them time to get acclimated, less pressure than coming in at the start of next season with greater expectations. But still a bit of challenge in securing top 4.

I'd like to see us go for Ten Hag from Ajax. Although maybe someone that has seen more of their football knows something I dont. But the games I've seen he's always impressed me and looked a great tactician, man manager and just carries himself with that edge/confidence I want from a United manager.

Glazers should have been more diligent in reading this thread. One year too late, could have saved us a lot of hassle

Enrique is a good coach but he sounds like a b****

  • Mar 23, 2022

Didn’t Enrique just straight up leave Barcelona out of the blue just cus he felt like it? Yeah no thanks

  • Mar 23, 2022

An entire year between permanent managers would be a disaster imo, especially since Ole was barely one himself. Hire Ten Hag now and let him lead the summer window

If i was Ten Hag i would be interviewing man Utd board as well

This board just throws money with no strategy behind at all, and want immediate results

  • It is nearly a year since Manchester United owner Joel Glazer made a series of pledges to change the way the club are run in response to acute anger over United’s involvement in attempts to form a Super League.

Joel, the most involved of the six Glazer siblings who rule United, replied directly to a five-point set of proposals submitted by Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST).

“One of the clearest lessons of the past few weeks is the need for us to become better listeners,” he wrote in an open letter last May. “To this end, I can commit the club will engage across all of the issues raised.”

Almost 11 months on, MUST has turned up the volume on frustrations that have been simmering in the background.

The group sent an email to some 100,000 members explaining that the reason “it’s all gone quiet” around a fan share scheme — one of the crucial themes of Glazer’s letter — “is simply that the club has not yet made a proposal that is sufficiently acceptable to us to allow it to go to the next stage, which would be a members ballot”.

MUST added: “We could have come to you with a proposal months ago but we didn’t because we were not satisfied that it met the benchmark we had set. Negotiations on these matters can take some time, but we can’t allow them to drag on for ever, particularly as in the meantime we continue to see our club decline on the field.

“We have now made clear to the club that we are looking for a resolution to this matter within the coming weeks.”

One of a few really promising youngsters. Excited to watch them develop, especially if it's with Ten Hag at the helm.
