His tactics are clearly not good enough to compete with the best but it will have to reflect on the table before the club sacks him
He won’t get sacked this season. This squad is too good for it to become a disaster.

How long do they keep going if we don't win anything though?
Cavani and Lingard might just have to start if Ole wants something here. Their work rate puts Sancho and Greenwood to shame. Especially the former considering he’s 34 years old
Would like to see Cavani x Ronaldo both in the line up and your right about Lingard his work rate is what Ole loves in a player.
But with Rashford eventually coming back it will be interesting to see what our line up will be going forward into the season
because I highly doubt Ole would drop Rashford. Ole doesn’t really drop the big named players.
So it’s gonna interesting to say the least what it will end up looking like.
Will Pogba continue out wing? Will he go back to midfield? Will McFred continue or will it be Matic and someone? Will Ole put Rashford on the LW or RW? How will this affect Sancho starting position?

We’ve seen from years gone by that it’s missing out on CL qualification that ends up sacking a United manager, unless the manager falls out with the players + board (Mou)
The board and players still love Ole (expect Donny LMAOOO) this squad will individually get Ole top 4 this season. We can already see it happening same old results, but still achieving top 4 objective
I feel like what Neville said about it being a collective of elite individuals but not a team is the most accurate way to put it
He has no tactical nuance or strategy. Hes a purely people manager which are out-dated nowadays. It would be better to retain him as someone like a DoF type role rather than the head coach
seems his had more tactical nous than top top managers like Van Gaal and Mourinho. first time we've finished top 4 back to back,2nd place last season, attracting world class players. This is literally the best state the club has been in since Fergie left but lets sack the guy who got us here cus he lost 3 games in October.

Money gets world class players, see Pogba and Lukaku. Mourinho didn’t have same backing after he finished 2nd.
Owners are more willing to back recently due to widespread back lash in match going fan base.
Finishing top 4 back to back means almost nothing if you aren’t winning trophies. Spurs collapsed completely last 2 years, Arsenal are s***. The teams we competed with for top 4 last year included Leicester and west ham. Near the end we ran away with it due to our squad depth because our squad is a lot more expensive. There’s no prize for basically finishing a distant 2nd. City took the gas of the pedal because we were hopeless and they wanted to try and get a champions league
I’m not saying they should sack him without a plan but realistically we need to get really lucky to win anything with this season. He is a man manager and has admitted as such, his coaching staff clearly aren’t competent enough that with a brand new back line we are still constantly exposed every game. Those aren’t player faults but how defence is set up and trained, see Harry Maguire at Euros where he was very solid
Our squad will be wasted if we keep OGS and his coaching staff after this season unless we win a major trophy.
Hopefully they don't s*** the bed tomorrow morning, I want to watch the Liverpool-City game without being mad the whole time

Will be quite lucky that one of them is dropping points at least, or both of them. We were awful last week but at least the teams around us dropped points

A brand new back line is going to be exposed for a while bro it's brand new. Nothing clicks over night. Cr7 f***ed up everything now they need to bring in a new game plan again.
Everyone who thinks getting rid of Ole right now were the same ones begging for mourinho then begging for him to get sacked. Theres clear progression here season after season. Brining in Conte, Zidane, Ten haag or who ever the flavour of the month is just sets us back again, then another rebuild.
Everyone wants over night success it's not realistic and its not what man utds ever been, we're not Chelsea just rinsing through managers.
Imagine this team under a good manager, we'd win two trophies
wild how we will win 5 at the end of this season with ole

We didnt have a brand new back line last season and suffered similar issues where they kept getting exposed, hence DDG got exposed.
Our positioning in the back line is terrible always and that comes down to coaching, its not even about individual mistakes. England players play together for like 4 times a year, same with France, same with Sweden, and our defenders look amazing there. Your argument only makes sense if it was always due to individual mistakes.
Again I never said he should be replaced rn but they should get a replacement plan ready. And I wanted Mourinho to stay but he was never right manager for Utd + he wasnt backed after finsihing 2nd. I would say same thing for a manager like Simeone, they are too defensive to coach Utd.

What 5? we are already out of the league cup
not that I think its relevant at all
