I don’t see any legit change at United in all honesty. The board waved two shiny new toys and we all ate it up and forget about everything. They are still incompetent in the market. It showed against Southampton. We didn’t have any attacking influence in those last 20
minutes, and the creativity and ball distribution in the midfield was crap again. Same like last season. I don’t see it changing

Agreed. Couldn't sell Pereira, Matic, DDG....in fact we haven't sold any of our deadwood. Why the hell are we planning on keeping Lingard or slapping a 30m price tag on him that's unreasonable. Same thing for James, he has a lot of clubs interested in paying good money for him but we are going to keep him no one is interested.

I think its quite clear we don't have an unlimited budget like City or Chelsea. So what I don't understand is why we spent the bulk of that budget on Sanxho and now we want to finish this window without getting a DM. We needed to get a DM to upgrade on Fred or Mctominay more than spend big money on Sancho to upgrade on Greenwood if you ask me. Sancho wasn't wanted by anyone else so we had the luxury of leaving Greenwood to keep killing it as our RW for another year and for us to focus on a DM

In Lingard case I think that’s down to Ole and the club, clearly he isn’t gonna feature that much this season. But Ole wants to keep him. Lingard himself should seek a move away to better his career.
