Mbeumo at striker genuinely doesn’t offer much I really don’t get the thought process. He’s not a speed demon to run in behind; he’s not a technical maestro to come deep and false 9 it; he’s short and not very good in the air; average presser etc etc.

I genuinely think at this point Carrick is doing it solely to be able to bring Sesko on from the bench as a shock to tired defences

Obviously leaves a lot to be desired especially with Amad and Mbeumo not being on form, but can’t hate on a winning formula.
