Can't really be upset with the way we played tonight. Emery's side tactically was incredibly organized and played for pens and then it was a 50/50 crap shoot. Ole got it wrong but I'm not really too sure how much Donny or Amad woulda helped if they came on in the 75th minute or something. Think he fielded the best 11 apart from maybe Axel instead of Bailly.

Board needs to give Ole his signings and if he fails with them, he deserves the boot.

This is his peak. A handful of amazing, free-flowing performances scattered across the season, but fundamentally a manager who is risk averse and lacks the necessary game management when it matters.

I’m done with Ole, we got found out by Emery tactics. Ole late substitutions was
dumbfounding, keeping on certain players who were not playing good. Mad how in extra time all we did was play 30 minutes for penalties there was no intent from the coaching to go for the win. It was so defensive and lacklustre. It’s the final where’s the aim to go for it and win. Such a bad performance overall

Why are we sticking with Ole. I don’t see progression, it’s becoming part of our DNA being bottlers, I worry going into next season with the same philosophy from our coaching. Even if we buy ‘the best players’ your still giving an amateur coach these tools and I don’t trust his coaching to make us better. He’s way too reliant on individuals to get results. You can’t play a whole season from going from behind to win. What is that?? It’s unrealistic.
