    Thank god it's finally over.

Give me a quartet of Carrick, Wayne, Fletcher and Evans.

Then give me Nagelsmann in the summer.

Weird one — I think he’s a decent manager but much like Amorim he is a purist, just in a different way. Maresca wants his side to control the ball (which is a plus), but he’s equally rigid on his principles etc.

I think he’d probably do well enough — win a few minor trophies with backing like he has done for Chelsea, but that’s probably his ceiling. Not sure if he’s seasoned enough for a full PL title chasing slog

But wasn’t that same rigidness the main argument for getting Amorim since ten Hag ditched his Ajax playing style 2 games in?

Ten Hag just put those plans on the backburner while waiting to get suitable players in. Amorim did the opposite and crashed and burned far harder.

People are complaining about Amorim being a few players short (partly due to an AFCON we all knew about well in advance), meanwhile Ten Hag was playing whole seasons with critical players injured.

    Lil Wayne?

    He just might work

    • The most gutless manager I have ever seen at this club

    • Came in with a defeatist attitude immediately

    • Responsible for some of the most embarrassing results in club history

    • Painted himself into a corner to relentlessly impose his idiotic style from his third-rate league, then got upset and gave up on the club when the logical set-up worked

F*** him and good f***ing riddance

  • underachiever

this sounds quite on point ngl: “If a head coach — or manager — who has won 24 of 63 games is saying ‘back me or sack me’, many executives would not treat that as an ultimatum, but an invitation.”

  • “Back me or sack me” with his win percentage is objectively hilarious

They can never make a good decision.

There’s no way this is happening if their issue with Amorim was him calling them out

  • underachiever

INEOS coming out from this as the biggest clowns for sure though, not Amorim – first they fire Ashworth because of Amorim, only to dismiss him too a year later...

Forgot about the expensive Ashworth heist from Newcastle only to then buy out his newly signed contract fiasco

  • DwindlingBraloserls thinks Wayne Rooney who last had a win percentage of 13% should be near the managerial positions of United

Shame coz he has good distribution when he decides to pass. Can see him do well in Midfield if he stops the running around.

Idk he has flashes for sure like the offside volley goal yesterday, but otherwise he’s not been good enough.

I resigned from my terrible job late last year, currently serving my notice period until the end of Feb. This picture is what coming to work has felt like since I resigned He definitely didn't want this job anymore
