    Not really

Yeah, nothing wrong with this at all.

Player FC whining he's not ahead of the "lord and saviour" Fernandes or a multiple time UCL winner

There's no way this is true surely

It’s milquetoast boomer talk more suited for life than football and has very little bearing on the actual current situation because none of these ex players actually care enough to familiarize themselves with it. They speak in generalities with a mindset that is 20 years passĆ©.

ā€œBe patientā€ ā€œlearn the ropesā€ from a midfield that gets destroyed in every game lmfao?? ā€œYou have to prove the coach wrongā€ and so what if that never happens? He was just never good enough? The kid who started for England at 18 just suddenly became washed at 20? The manager looks at all of this OBJECTIVELY? Beyond naive.

He then talks about Grimsby because that was Mainoo’s only full-90 this season, but what about the other ten on the pitch?

Just stick to telling stories from the 90s.

So what, because he had a decent Euros final he's a guaranteed starter?

Casemiro was below Collyer and that's a guy that's done it all. He got back in. Why can't this superstar hero?

No, I’m not saying he HAS TO be a guaranteed starter because of what he’s done previously, I’m saying I think it’s ignorant to act like Mainoo can get out of this situation by ā€œpulling himself up by the bootstraps and working harder.ā€

Amorim clearly thinks that Bruno and Casemiro is the best midfield we can put out (even though it f***ing sucks) and he also clearly sees something in Mainoo he doesn’t like… what happens if Mainoo is unable to change that? It’s unintelligent a***ysis, especially because much of it is contradicted by what Amorim says about Mainoo.

Yes, but if Casemiro could do it, why can't Kobbie?

Amorim thinks Bruno + Casemiro is the midfield pairing. He's not always thought that. It would change, like it has already?

If it doesn't work out, he goes in the summer and we move on. We've lost better players before. That's the game.

It’s not an objective measure. Casemiro was able to appease Amorim in a way that Mainoo seemingly can’t, but that doesn’t mean Mainoo is doing anything wrong.

Surely even you have to question why Ugarte has been getting more minutes than him in the Prem this season.

It doesn't, but telling someone to put a good shift in to try and convince otherwise is hardly a bad suggestion lol

It is just a bit meaningless at the same time - you'd hope this was a given. Possibly not in today's world though to be fair to Roy

It just seems like this absolutely f***ing bizarre notion that he's not playing all the time. He's 20 lol.

Of course. I wonder what we aren't seeing for such a decision to be made lol.

Find Keane and them so sus bc their punditry careers are just slagging off the club and adding to the media circus around it.

It's very evident Amorim has a grudge against a lot of players for quite arbitrary reasons. Best for Mainoo to move on on loan and show himself somewhere else.

Funny, this was KOP's exact sentiment when Keane was criticizing Amorim a couple of months ago.

That d***head brother of Mainoo's has ruined a lot of goodwill people had for the guy. He must be raging with him

It actually does not exist, the only reason I know what Keane is saying on the overlap or what happens to the haircut guy is because you (and others) post about it itt.

Really hope our players aren't as online as us.

These people are making millions a year kicking a ball, you're telling me we can't expect them to be indifferent to some loser that hasn't gotten a haircut or an ex player talking on a podcast? Grow up please. Insert the tyler the creator tweet here

Of course they shouldn't be affected by it but they definitely are

Young players especially, all over social media, they're going to see these things. It's the modern game
