Those second half performances against Fulham, Forest and today have deflated me more than the result itself
It’s so strange it’s like some players just decide they want to give the ball away for fun.

Yeah not great
We haven’t had an aging over the hill striker signing in awhile, I’m ready for it.
Harry Kane playing for us would be so right, think he has a release clause as well.
Because we beat some big teams and didn't lose
That three game win streak is important to be in the top half, fair enough
Sesko has a lot to make up for after that
I think this is just his level let’s be real

I’m down, he doesn’t even rely on pace he may be good into late 30s.

Yes that's how it works
Great character starting to form in this team
Still having the moments where we wobble, just reacting to them so much better
Glad to see it

Supposedly his release clause goes down to £54 million after January 2026? Definitely worth the gamble.
Only thing is would he come back to the prem for anybody but spurs

The goal to level is nice, but the 2nd half performances have sucked more often than not including today. Huge drop from 1st half.

Yeah I mean that’s not even a gamble that’s a no brainer sir.
Never give in
F***ing good to see some fight in this side
Yep
Should have done much better though
Got too excited there mate, sorry they burst your bubble
Yet more points dropped and you’re wanking yourself silly. Enjoy

Have to rate how they’ve started getting clutch equalisers. I genuinely don’t think we were even bad today, like they were on the front foot most of the second half but we defended well until an elite individual moment from Tel.
We definitely started to crumble after that though. A draw is completely fair imo.
Our fixtures are not that difficult till mid January against City. I expect us to drop some points here and there but overall if we come through that period with mostly wins, we will have a top 5 placement at least

Which is the absolute bare minimum given 1. The amount of money spent; 2. We play one game a week; 3. The manager has been backed unconditionally

We're on the way back mate it won't be wins every week
Were seeing character we've not seen for a long time. Not perfect but it's good signs to see

Yeah Casemiro comes off and it falls apart but it's good to see the fight

Agreed. Good to see us try and reach the baseline in spite of the tactics

Give it a rest
Fundamentally have we improved from last season? Apart from getting an extra goalscorer in Mbuemo, post-breakup inform De Ligt and a decent goalkeeper that isn’t comically bad like Onana/Bayindir, have we actually fixed any of the issues with the team? I don’t think so tbh.

No it's all individual brilliance all the time

I wouldn’t say so. The ‘upturn’ in form is predominantly down to the fact we’ve spent some money buying objectively good players (Mbeumo, Danny’s cousin who can catch a football), and playing once a week.
Yet to see anything that suggests improvement owing to in game management or tweaks tactically. The African Euros will be the biggest test because he can no longer rely on his two best players and will actually have to think a bit critically.
Though the standards are through the floor anyway so probably a draw against Brentford will be seen as “great fight”, or something like that.
