7th imo.
Yeah same. I think we should finish higher but 7-8th is enough for him to keep his job for a bit longer given wider club context
we have a pretty low bar right now so surely he has to be better than both our current keepers

Ben Jacobs, who's been incredible on United stuff this Summer, just said he doesn't think Lammens is gonna start straight away, if at all, and that they might go for a true #1 keeper in January.
7th imo.
I think we should be competing for that 5th champions league ticket till the last day, then I'd be convinced to keep him for another season. As soon as we're out of the race I think even INEOS can't come up with an excuse not to sack him

IF and it's a big if, we got UCL next season I'd want absolutely no excuses for Ineos + co to buy several very very good midfielders, it's basically an empty department
That’s exactly how I feel. I used to really enjoy watching Arsenal under wenger snd even Unai they played often better football than even peak SAF teams.
Arteta has corrupted that whole club from fans to players to enjoy watching them win games ugly like stoke city or something even worse.
i agree. even my dad who’s an arsenal fan says he’s barely in the mood to watch these days for this exact reason, and he would rarely skip a game few years back even when they were absolutely dogshit with guys like kolasinac, chambers and holdini at the back.
early arteta wasn’t bad to watch either though, i don’t know what possessed him to go with this terroristic, totally anti-football approach in these last 2-3 seasons - they were a way more feared & threatening side in the first year where they “challenged” for the title too. current arteta ball might genuinely be worse than pep ever was.
Why are city signing donnarumma? He’s the opposite of a ball playing goalkeeper that Pep wants. Is he drunk?
trafford is ass
realised he doesn’t got what it takes yet and they’re probably desperate at this point in the window

So are they not going to play form the back and rely on their gk to make like 25 somewhat challenging passes a game? Cause donnaruma may be in the bottom 5 of the whole league for that trait from what I saw online.

i guess so lol
i am surprised that they’re going for him just as your are, however at least he is still a pretty good keeper after all, trafford doesn’t really seem to excel in anything
and also those days where they could afford to go with ederson at goal are probably over, new keeper better save some s*** too
And it happened. All 3 sacked.

This club has consistently shown how inept they are at finding goalkeepers jfc
Why didn’t we pick up Ederson? F***s off to Turkey for 13m
He definitely has something left in the tank
Bomb squad actually going to f*** off
Just get Onana gone and if we can beat city that's back to back PL wins curse broken
I think we are going to win the league
Honestly managing to offload them (even if they’re not permanent) is good work.
If Holjund somehow fulfils the terms to make that deal mandatory, that’s actually a good deal for us.
I just feel like it’ll be appearance based and he’ll be sent back to us in June.

Cursed position at the club tbh
The fact Pogba failed (relatively speaking) when in another life he should’ve gone down as the golden standard CM for his era

My ex said she gave me the best years of her life
I saw a recent picture of her I guess she was right

I'm shocked we found clubs stupid enough to take them
If we got the “bomb squad” out like 3 weeks earlier who knows what extra damage we could’ve done in the market

they have spent like half a billion this transfer window
