What happens in the super league when a team pulls ahead in October and there's nothing for everyone else to play for? There's no relegation, no European qualification and unlike American sports there's no playoffs or draft. Sounds so boring

Great win, loved that last goal by Donny and Cavani, f*** a super league though. Appalled by United and the other top clubs just trying to cash in and kill the merit of competition. I seriously can’t stand this, I mean I understand the money involved and with all these billionaire owners it was bound to happen.

But to me it kills the creditability of football and it’s appeal. Proposing a league where only a selective few clubs plays and have no actual relegation whatsoever, I don’t get the appeal of it at all apart from it benefiting the clubs financially.

I love it in football when it’s based on competitiveness, if you finish 1st or 4th then you are worthy of qualifying for CL. To me this just kills all that.

This is the epitome of what’s wrong with the Glazers and what there all about..... money all they ever want is money... no desire for trophies no desire to compete, invest and improve the squad in order to compete with the best. A complete cop out to be in the league with no real feeling of competition.
