I don't know about that, they certainly were not impressive against United last week. I can't see how this team can win a PL title. But, I would 100% prefer them to win it over Liverpool or City

I hope Chelsea win it but I thought they were solid defensively gave up zero good chances, and we're much improved so it wasn't like they were playing Sunderland and struggled to win 1-0.

If United are consistent with how they played vs Bournemouth (pre season) & Arsenal opening day, then top 4 isn’t unrealistic

idk man. it’s gonna take time before the new players get used to each other, 4 new faces is a lot, especially when 2 of them are changes in defence. so far it looks good though, especially wirtz+ekitike but i have no doubts that bumps will come on the road.

also i can’t help but feel that the team is a virgil/konate longer term injury away from a massive blow. if guehi comes, i will find the two-peat more believable but honestly i think UCL is more achievable this season rather than PL - unless major injuries occur new signings will quite possibly find their right fit by then

I might be overestimating United here, but to me, the result felt like a fluke.

Watching United's performance last Sunday after having survived last season makes me cautiously optimistic that goals and wins will eventually come, especially at Old Trafford.

as long as they have sanchez in goal, i can’t see them winning the lot honestly lmao. he’s terrible. also i still think that the team is too young/immature and without proper leadership on the pitch to perform consistently in the prem.

also the fatigue from the CWC will likely kick in at some point (and hopefully doesn’t lead to injuries) + they have UCL this year as well, last year they had the UECL but tbf only the bench players played there for the most part

nevertheless, they still are definitely a top 3 contender for me, i just don’t see them winning the lot yet

you love to keep pushing this narrative lol but i don’t see it tbh. was there anyone even remotely close to that level of consistency in the prem last year? you could maybe argue that they weren’t as strong as the winners in previous years - in this case i would probably agree to a degree, however i don’t think there will be many winners with over 95+ points anymore, the league gets closer every year tbh. also it’s not like they had anything to play for since like matchday 30, probably could’ve cracked the 90 points if the pressure was on.

I’m not saying there were teams better than Lpool I’m just saying they weren’t good, which they weren’t. They just had a solid defence and Salah scoring a lot beginning of the season, probably the worst team to become pl champions in the last 20 years bar Leicester.
