Sesko is the highest top 5 league scorer for 23 and under I believe, so it's not a completely illogical gamble.
Plus, if he really has turned other clubs down to join United, that's the sort of player you want at the club (with Cunha and Mbuemo both doing the same)

It’s the price tag that’s concerning, how are they balancing stuff out without a single sale? Rashfords wages can only afford us so many millions.

GrenouilleI think Seskoffender is a big risk but he’s much more proven at this stage than Hojlund was when we signed Hojlund.
Hojlund had one season in Europe’s top 5 leagues — only starting 20 Serie A matches! He was capped twice for Denmark before we signed him, and had played two CL pre-qualifier stage games for Sturm Gaz.
Sesko has two full seasons in the Bundesliga and has played 4 seasons in the CL. Sesko has been capped 41 times for Slovenia by the time he joins.
Like I say, a big risk, and I’m not convinced at all, but I think he’s a lot more proven and the Hojlund parallel isn’t accurate.
I genuinely think Hojlund was some form of laundering. There’s no way in hell that player should have cost what he did. It’s extremely dodgy that the guy behind it at this club now works for Atalanta too…

What happen to dembele I think it was. Anytime I watched him at spurs he was silky. Think he’s playing in middle of nowhere the last like 5 seasons tho.

It would be a cool signing if he was half this price agreed. Outrageous fee imo, we should be paying less than what Joao Pedro cost who is way better today, PL proven, Brazil international etc. To me even if he works out, he has to absolutely crush it to justify this price.

Yeah he has to be great from the get go or we’re going to be hearing about our next flip for the rest of the season.

Hojlund and Sesko comparisons are a little lazy I think because they’re different types of strikers
Sesko from what I’ve seen has way more technical skills, if anything his first touch compared to Hojlund. He seemingly will be able to aid the attack outside of direct goal contributions.
Most of Hojlund’s game relies on him scoring or not, other than that he tends to be wasted space.

Cunha counts from last season's accounting I believe, and we are borrowing money - presumably on the hope we make it back through performance bonuses (UCL)
