That's just nitpicking for the sake of it
Of course we are going to suffer, we still have a long way to go before we are anywhere near where we expect to be
Mainoo looking extra lean too.
If he gets an extra yard of pace and is a little better with defensive actions and positioning we have a complete midfielder.

The full quote does mention his speed - Amorim clearly understands Mainoo well despite the typical bullshit noise
High hopes
Yeah he’s gonna make it (Amorim)
Simon Stone yet again with the most negative question and framing possible
Grade 1 bellend

adding 2 players to a squad that finished 15th last season and my guy is satisfied
i'll be satisfied when this loser is sacked
Who would you bring in as his replacement?
@ANTI tender your apology
I forgot the schedule list but as well as everybody else I could see United going 3/15 in the first 5 BUT I also think it’s very possible United beat Arsenal gameweek 1
I have to say…
I’ve never seen United fans less confident 😔
We’ll suffer bro

It’d take a miracle but I’d love the doubters to eat s***
Hope to see Cunha and Mbuemo both play tonight - interesting to see who the midfield two is as well
I think it’ll be Fernandes and Mainoo

I mean finishing 15th place or whatever it was, losing a final to Spurs, Jadon Sancho, Liverpool winning the league and spending the most they’ve ever spent, Jadon Sancho, Arsenal threatening to not be pathetic eventually, Chelsea and City still around, Jadon Sancho etc.
If you told 2015 me that this was the reality I’d be begging for LVG to stay forever (or jumping out the nearest window)

Exactly how I think it will happen actually.
GW1 Arsenal - either a close win or a draw In which we feel we deserve to win causing optimism. (Think the 4-0 opener against Chelsea under Ole)
GW2 Fulham - poor display a loss or draw looking just as bad as last season, low morale.
GW3 City - outclassed beyond belief, strong Amorim out sentiments
GW4 Chelsea - a valiant display but best we can do is a draw, again cementing the gap in quality and progress that needs to be made.
Best we can hope for will end up being top 10 finish
