Very weird. I said it a few days ago after it was reported that signing a notable striker won't be possible without Hojlund leaving. Choosing to pursue two 10s over everything else we need, especially when funds are as low as they are, is baffling. The only somewhat non-stupid explanation is they thought the process of selling Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho, etc. would be easier, but at the same time it doesn't seem like they've been actively working at that either so who the f*** knows.

I disagree. Amad is the perfect player for that AM role. Would way rather focus on a striker.
