Newcastle are a physical side much like Forest and Elanga is a monster on the counter. 6 goals and 11 assists in the PL this season (17 G/A). The three players you mentioned all combined only got 19 G/A between three of them.
Players suit systems and Elanga is a much easier fit than slow weak dribblers like Sancho and Antony who cannot handle the league

I told you all there was no way we were signing more than 3-4 players max and equally getting rid of anywhere near as many players that are considered “deadwood” — which makes it all the more bemusing that they’ve retained the manager who cannot get a tune out of the squad he has
