Wild elanga is worth more than Rashford now 😂
I’d much rather have Rashford if I was Newcastle or villa etc

Let’s compare their numbers and see who warrants more money

I don’t think there’s any chance Rashford is being phased out because he took umbrage at redundancies. Rashford is being sold for two main reasons: 1. He’s no longer good enough and hasn’t got the same desire or intensity in his game, and 2. because he’s on far too much money and the club need to cost cut.

I think the main factors behind Rashford’s decline are the injuries gradually wearing down his speed and change of direction and the fact that he loves a drink.

It’s such a shame, and the comments on this page about him reflect that. It shouldn’t have ended like this.

History and nostalgia will remember him more fondly when the dust settles.

I think it’s entirely a financial thing but it makes me sad that the club did one of our own so dirty, the idea that he was God awful is highly exaggerated by the same people who are saying we should back a manager that got us our lowest prem finish ever. He definitely wasn’t good enough the last two seasons for sure though.

The clubbing thing after the city loss iirc was the point of no return for me personally.

City have more than most would remember but they spend so often you just forget about them

Wilfried Bony’s transfer has been lost in time. Today, anyone with a pulse goes for what his fee was but he only scored 2 or 3 goals as the most expensive African footballer at the time

Yeah if prices were adjusted for inflation the lists would be looking very different

    Yes try this: transfermarkt.us/statistik/transferrekorde

I didn’t look at it fully but noticed Zidane was on page 2 and thought they may be adjusting the fees with inflation etc. Lmk

There is a team of school teachers at the club World Cup? 😂

Truly a test of the worlds best teams fifa has outdone itself.

Nah man Ronaldo went to Real in 2009 for 94 million euros adjusted for cpi inflation thats around 135 mil. But I bet that if you’d take the average pl transfer fee of 2009 and the average pl transfer fee of 2025, you’re gonna see at least a 2 times growth, that’s why it’s hard to compare flop from now to earlier ones

Price of average arrival in the prem in 2009 was 1.2 million euros, in 2024 the average was 7.9 mil. Honestly crazy.

    transfermarkt.us/premier-league/transfers/wettbewerb/GB1/plus/?saison_id=2009&s_w=&leihe=1&intern=0&intern=1

If you’d use this for inflation it would mean Ronaldo would’ve been worth 650 mil euros today

Big game player Tyrell Malacia. Keep him and play him exclusively vs. Liverpool and City

Insert 20 other players on our squad we’re struggling to drum up interest for.

Actually crazy Sancho still got interest from Chelsea Napoli and Juve, after being s*** for 3 years + having this crazy attitude, and not accepting any of their offers because they won’t pay your ridiculous salary demands. Genuinely the biggest c*** I’ve ever seen
